First Friday This Month Will Once Again be on the SECOND Friday, June 14, Same Time, Same Place

Due to the workshop I'm involved in at Florida Tech, beginning Wed., June 5, ending on Sunday June 9, First Friday is postponed by .  See you June 14, Woolson House on the Rollins Campus, at 6:30 PM.

First Friday will be the second Friday of May (May 10)

First Friday this month will meet on the second Friday, May 10, starting at 6:30 in wonderful Woolson House on the campus of Rollins College.  Spread the word!

First Friday will meet April 5, same time, same bat cave

Greetings all.  First Friday will meet this coming Friday in Woolson House.  We start at 6:30 and work ourselves to exhaustion.  Just kidding.  We start at 6:30 and have been known to go until 11, but usually it's a little after 10 when we break.  Of course, you can come and go whenever you want, though if you bring something to share with us it's polite to hang around a while and participate in discussions with some other people's work.  Safe to say attendance averages 12 to 15 people, though we have a total membership (I use the word loosely) of upwards of 40.  It is optional, but do consider bringing copies (15 is a safe number) because some people need to see the words on the page (writers, you know) while others prefer to hear the music of the words spoken by the author.  Anyway, see you soon.

No First Friday in March

With regrets, I announce there will be no First Friday in March.  See you the first Friday of April.  Maybe Spring will have sprung by then.  Keep writing!  Philip

First Friday is happening Feb. 1

This is to send out the word, First Friday will happen February First at Woolson House, 6:30 - 10:00 (roughly).  Bring twelve or copies of the stuff you wish to share, or it's okay if you don't and just want to read something to us.  It's local writers from all over the city, prose and poetry alike.  It's a community, gentle, and you're welcome.

No First Friday in December; FF in Jan. will be the Second Friday

Hey all, happy holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  It has become clear that there is no way I can be at FF on December's First Friday, and it gets worse the second Friday of December, so December is out for FF.  January you can consider it firm that we'll meet the second Friday.

First Friday is a go for Nov. 2

Woolson House on the lovely campus of Rollins College, our usual place.  6:30.  If you want us to read along with you, bring around 12-15 copies.  Looking forward to it. -- Philip
